The location of the Apartment is in Sunrise Height, Nagarjun-1 Raniban Kathmandu, nestled between Syambhunath (monkey Temple) and Thamel which is 5 kilometer from Thamel or Tourism center. You may walk from Thamel which takes 30 to 45 minutes. The picturesque green hill ( Raniban) is the cap of Sunrise, with lovely view of the Raniban and Kathmandu city is attraction of the Apartment. The best thing that you will hear at morning is singing sound of different birds at Raniban (jungle). You would have Internet access with WIFI therefore you would not be far from your relatives and news.
The Apartment is your chance to experience the traditional Nepalese way of life that shows you all the Nepalese lifestyle from early morning to evening how the people live their way.
The Apartment is better than any three stars hotel in Kathmandu, High quality Mattress, Well Furnished Lobby, Kitchen with all the necessary kitchen equipments, washing mechine, Heater, Air Condition, Refrigerator, Flat Screen TV, 24 hours running Hot Showers, outside garden, Parking, Free Wi-Fi etc.
There are few shops near the apartment so that sells snacks, drinks (including alcohol but please respect your apartment or home, by not drinking excessively) and some other basic things. But we recommend that you take with you insect repellant (you will have mosquito liquid too) and some basic first aid. The Apartment will provide water coming from the local streams, but you may wish to take some water purifying tablets for your peace of mind either buy mineral water from the market which is near by the Apartment. We would recommend you to stay about 2-4 nights to give you a true flavor. One night only is also possible. The Apartment is available for all the time of year.

The Founder – Gokul Sapkota
Mr. Gokul Sapkota is a passionate tourism entrepreneur and hospitality professional whose journey began humbly in Nepal’s Himalayas. Starting as a trekking porter, he steadily advanced to become a licensed trekking and city guide, later leading tours across Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, and India. With more than two decades of dedication to the travel and hospitality industry, he is now recognized for his deep knowledge, integrity, and guest-centered service.
He is the Managing Director of Hotel Kathmandu Suite Home, a boutique hotel in the heart of the capital, and the Founder and Managing Director of Outshine Adventure Pvt. Ltd. as well, a well-established trekking and tour company. Both ventures reflect his lifelong commitment to offering travelers authentic Nepali experiences with comfort and care.
Mr. Sapkota is also the Founder President of Junkiri Nepal, a non-profit organization working to improve education, healthcare, and women’s empowerment in rural areas. His active involvement in community service—including leadership roles in the NGO Federation of Nepal—demonstrates his belief that tourism and social responsibility should go hand in hand.
